The Hook & Plow
SoCal beach meets contemporary northwest craft.
A farm-to-table restaurant that's approachable, family-friendly, and fun — a deliberate departure from the dark, moody, formal dining experience familiar to this end of the market in Bend, OR.
The reference points are Southern California and Hawaii filtered through a Pacific Northwest lens. Light, warm, and relaxed without being casual. The design makes a case that a higher-end dining experience doesn't have to take itself too seriously.
At the entry, a rope screen wall creates a semitransparent landing zone for waiting guests, grabbing the attention of anyone who's never seen it before.
The rest of the space follows the same logic: every decision in service of an atmosphere that feels effortless, welcoming you in, inviting you to stay.
