Blue Forty was approached by Duxbury McIntosh Architects to assist in the design and development of a new 8,000 SF home and detached ADU located in Los Altos, California. The 5 bedroom, 7 bath home features a grand Kitchen/living room daylit from North facing clerestory windows. The space opens up to a large covered patio, which has views of the adjacent pool and detached ADU.
The basement features a guest bedroom, home gym, movie theater, and rec room with 3 exterior light wells placed to evenly daylight the below grade space.
